The Beginning

The Gymnastics is composed of three main points: the Force, the Agility, and the Flexibility. I could talk a lot of things about the first two ones. There are great publications about the optimizing of the force and of the agility in the kids. But I should limit to the main subject from our site: Flexibility.

The beginning is always difficult in all the sports. It's also in the gymnastics, mainly when we refer in flexibility. I should admit that point becomes a little easier when we compared the elastic potential of a child's muscles with the one from an adult.

When we were born and while we increased our muscles are still forming and our flexibility stays high until about 11 or 12 years old. It is enough to remember when you was a child and as you could assume positions that today would have difficulties to get. Although in some adults that flexibility stays for a long, in the most of the people it will never return, as long as it have an appropriate training. The great gymnasts never stop working your own flexibility. This way, when adults, they still get do things that any baby would never do! It means if you are adult and is "unstretchful" don't worry because it can get back your flexibility. If you are still child, great! You will have the chance becoming still more flexible and smarter. Find more about Gymnastic.

Here they are some initial recommendations that are important to the all the apprentices, beginners or not.

See a doctor before starting any fisical activity
never to practice after feeding,
if possible, workout with partners or assistants,
obey your own limit and never compare yourself with other gymnast,
reserve at least one hour of training and maintain the regularity,
get dressed appropriately and comfortably. (see more)

I will still increase another requirement I find the most important of all: To maintain the willpower! Without it the gymnast doesn't progresses in none of the three main points. And in none sport too!
